Likutey Moharan 59 – Clip – Anger Destroys Wealth – Speaker: Rabbi Nasan Maimon.
PARAGRAPH 5. וְנָֽתַתִּ֨י לָהֶ֜ם בְּבֵיתִ֚י וּבְחֽוֹמֹתַי֙ יָ֣ד וָשֵׁ֔ם ט֖וֹב מִבָּנִ֣ים וּמִבָּנ֑וֹת שֵׁ֚ם עוֹלָם֙ אֶתֶּן־ל֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֥א יִכָּרֵֽת – “Within My House and My walls, I will give them a hand [monument, accomplishment] and a name better than sons or daughters.” (Yishayahu 56:5). The accomplishment is the establishment of students in Torah. “Name” is prestige brought through wealth; prestige attracts souls. The “wall” is the ability to contain one’s anger.
When a person is designated to receive new wealth, he is tested in anger. If he doesn’t lose his temper, he creates a vessel to contain the wealth and is granted the blessing.
