13:35 – Rabbah Bar Abuha asks Eliyahu HaNavi if he is a Kohen. Eliyahu HaNavi’s response includes a review of Mishnah.
20:15 – Tosefos questions how Eliyahu HaNavi, as the soul of a Kohen, could revive a dead child.
27:31 – Tosefos brings a third aspect of Eliyahu HaNavi’s response to Rabbah Bar Abuha. That the account actually speaks of Eliyahu HaNavi carrying the dead body of Rabbi Akiva, because the body of a tzaddik who passes away does not have the impurity of death. Proof brought from Kasubos, the death of Rabbeinu HaKadosh, Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi.
*29:10 – Why visiting the grave sites of certain Tzaddikim (such as Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai zal or Rebbe Nachman of Breslov) does not convey impurity.
