Speaker: Rabbi Nasan Maimon.
00:00 – PARAGRAPH 2. Pesach (Passover)and nigun (melody).
10:33 – PARAGRAPH 3. Chometz, matzah. Bread is made from all four elements: earth, air, fire, water. Matzah doesn’t have air, which is an aspect of voice.
23:15 – PARAGRAPH 4. The main way to draw something close is through the power of nigun/music, as in the story of the Seven Beggars, especially the third , fourth, and sixth days.
29:53 – PARAGRAPH 5. The voice awakens kavana (intention/concentration).
40:22 – Pharaoh tried to disconnect the proper sequence of speech from the brain through the heart. He was an aspect of the “back of the neck” when the transmission of voice is interrupted. Hashem “speaks” to every Jew by sending a light to their consciousness, which is an aspect of His “kol” (voice).
