Hilkhos Halvaah 5 is based on Likutey Moharan 33.
00:00 – Rosh Hashanah. Yom Kippur. 5 Kolos in Kol Susson veKol Simcha. Sukkos. Arbah Minim.
08:00 – Simchas Torah – Why we complete the Torah and begin immediately again at Bereishis. The term Bereishis alludes to a very high level of love from HaShem – Ahava ShebeDaas – His “original thought” that there would be a Jewish Nation that would serve Him.
14:00 – PARAGRAPH 7. Prayer for Rain on Shemini Atzeres / Simchas Torah.
16:00 – וְהָיָ֣ה יֽוֹם־אֶחָ֗ד ה֛וּא יִוָּדַ֥ע לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה – “There will one day in the future when we recognize the highest level of HaShem”… (Zecharia 14:7).
*17:00 – יוֹמָ֚ם | יְצַוֶּ֬ה יְהֹוָ֨ה | חַסְדּ֗וֹ – “By day, may HaShem command His kindness…” (Tehillim 42:9). Every day of the week contains chesed. The 70 korbonos offered on Sukkos correspond to the 70 Nations.
19:30 – On Sukkos, we’re withing the embrace of HaShem. Israel finds the good in each of the 70 Nations, and through this peace can be established.

22:00 – Meaning of waving the Arba Minim.
***24:00 – Hoshana Rabbah. Striking 5 willow branches on the floor – even in the aravos alone there is Torah.
28:00 – Shemini Atzeres. The blessing of rain corresponds to all HaShem’s blessings.
29:00 – If it rains on Sukkos, it’s not a sign of blessing, because it prevents Am Yisrael from dwelling in the sukkah.
33:00 – PARAGRAPH 5. וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ֙ לְמַסָּעָ֔יו – “And he went on his journeys…” (Bereishis 13:3, Lech Lecha). Avraham Avinu. Avoiding debt. Borrowing is a sign of katnus demochin – constricted consciousness.
35:00 – At times, the tzaddik borrows in order to build Torah.
38:00 – There is no “bad day” – every day contains Torah.
***40:00 – Repaying a debt is a mitzvah and builds the Torah. This enables a person to receive even greater blessing.
***46:00 – NOTE about Rabbi Michel Dorfman zal borrowing money to buy the land, dig the foundations, and construct the mikvaos for the kloiz in Uman. He even mortgaged his own home. Every loan was paid off.
49:00 – Q&R about borrowing money at high interest. A person should avoid gifts and avoid falling into debt.
55:00 – Closing blessings.
