13:20 – Parshas Shemos. אָכֵ֖ן נוֹדַ֥ע הַדָּבָֽר “…Indeed, the matter has become known” (Shemos 2:14, Shemos). Galus Mitzrayim repaired the lack of justice in Klal Yisrael. Shalom depends on mishpat. אֱמֶת֙ וּמִשְׁפַּ֣ט שָׁל֔וֹם שִׁפְט֖וּ בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵיכֶֽם – “…truth, and judgment of peace you shall judge in your gates” (Zecharia 8:16).
