23:26 – Torah 208. “The evil person looks to the tzaddik and wants to kill him, but Hashem will not abandon the tzaddik and allow him to fall into the hands of the evil person.” (Tehillim/Psalms 37). Controversy sometimes protects a tzaddik from harmful fame. It’s often necessary for a tzaddik to keep a low profile to prevent the forces of evil from causing him harm.

30:46 – Torah 209. Everyone experiences “bad prayer” – that is, asking Hashem for things that are not connection to spiritual goals. These lower level prayers create opposition for the person’s good prayers. What protects a person from this opposition is hosting a talmud chochom (Torah scholar) in his home. “The guest blesses.”
