03:00 – PARAGRAPH 4. Tefila is called avoda and the main 3 sins that weaken tefilah are also called avoda.
08:00 – וְעֶ֥בֶד ל֜וֶֹ֗ה לְאִ֣ישׁ מַלְוֶֽה – “…and a borrower is a slave to a lender” (Mishlei 22:7). Hashem is lending life-energy to us. Life is a loan and it has to be repaid.
***12:00 – Siach HaSadeh – The life-energy Hashem sends down to the earth from the highest levels come down to the earth and are returned to Hashem through our tefilos. The energy in the plants and animal is included in the prayers of man. “Vayetzeh Yitzchak lesuach besadeh” – roshei teivos “yavul.
14:00 – Parshas Bereishis. בְּזֵעַ֤ת אַפֶּ֨יךָ֙ תֹּ֣אכַל לֶ֔חֶם – “By the sweat of your brow you will bread…” (Bereishis 3:19, Bereishis).
18:00 – A person who eats or drinks without making a blessing is stealing.

***34:00 – אִשָּׁ֥ה יִרְאַת־יְ֜הוָ֗ה הִ֣יא תִתְהַלָּֽל – “…a woman who fears Hashem is to be praised” (Mishlei 31:3). Prayer expresses yirah – respect for Hashem. Sometimes a person finds it difficult to pray and would rather study Torah, because studying Torah brings admiration and praise from others, while sincerity in prayer is only appreciated by Hashem.
29:00 – Parshas Bereishis – Cain and Hevel.
41:00 – Dvar Hashem – Hashem’s life-energy – is repaid through tefilah.
***44:00 – Q&R about emunah – when a Jew has a good thought, Hashem rewards it. A person can be happy even when things are not going well as long as he remembers that the events of his life are being closely supervised by Hashem.
