16:00 – PARAGRAPH 12. Parshas Bereishis. בְּרֵאשִׁ֖ית בָּרָ֣א אֱלֹהִ֑ים אֵ֥ת הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם וְאֵ֥ת הָאָֽרֶץ – “In the beginning, HaShem created the heavens and the earth” וְהָאָ֗רֶץ הָֽיְתָ֥ה תֹ֨הוּ֙ וָבֹ֔הוּ וְח֖שֶׁךְ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י תְה֑וֹם וְר֣וּחַ אֱלֹהִ֔ים מְרַחֶ֖פֶת עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַמָּֽיִם – “And the earth was astonishingly empty, and darkness was on the face of the deep, and the spirit of HaShem was hovering over the face of the water” (Bereishis 1:1-2, Bereishis).
*24:00 – All exiles are included in the present one.
26:00 – Tzedakah is an aspect of water, as in שַׁלַּ֥ח לַחְמְךָ֖ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַמָּ֑יִם – “Cast your bread your bread upon the surface of the water…” (Koheles 11:1). “Ruach Apeinu” refers to Moshiach (Zohar HaKodesh).
28:00 – NOTE: “Yehi” – as in “vayehi ohr” is begematria 25, alluding to the 25th of Kislev.
*32:00 – The fact that every day is completely new and different from any other day is an aspect of hispa’arus.
34:00 – Oil represents hispa’arus – glory – as in כַּשֶּׁ֚מֶן הַטּ֨וֹב | עַל־הָרֹ֗אשׁ – “As the good oil on the head…” (Tehillim 133:2).
40:00 – Miracle of the oil on Chanukah.
*44:00 – HaShem’s love for Am Yisrael is expressed through the miracles facilitated by the tzaddikim.
47:00 – וְהָיָה־לָ֚ךְ יְהֹוָה֙ לְא֣וֹר עוֹלָ֔ם וֵֽאלֹהַ֖יִךְ לְתִפְאַרְתֵּֽךְ – “…but HaShem shall be to you for an everlasting light, and your Master for your glory” (Yeshaya 60:5). Jewish pride is not “Chicken soup”. Hispa’arus is our connection with HaShem and His Torah. Am Yisrael is the “Pride of HaShem” because HaShem, the Jewish Nation, and the Torah are one.
