Hilkhos Mezuza 3 is based on Likutey Moharan 67.
00:00 – PARAGRAPH 5b. פִּתְח֖וּ שְׁעָרִ֑ים וְיָבֹ֥א גֽוֹי־צַדִּ֖יק שֹׁמֵ֥ר אֱמֻנִֽים – “Open the gates so that a righteous nation, those who keep faith, may enter” (Yeshayahu 26:2).
06:00 – יוֹסֵי בֶן יוֹחָנָן אִישׁ יְרוּשָׁלַיִם אוֹמֵר, יְהִי בֵיתְךָ פָתוּחַ לִרְוָחָה, וְיִהְיוּ עֲנִיִּים בְּנֵי בֵיתֶךָ – “Yose ben Yochanan, a man of Jerusalem, used to say: Let thy house be wide open, and let the poor be members of your household” (Avos 1:5).
12:00 – זֶה דּ֣וֹר דֹּֽרְשָׁ֑יו (כתיב דֹּֽרְשָׁ֑ו) מְבַקְשֵׁ֥י פָ֜נֶ֗יךָ יַֽעֲקֹ֣ב סֶֽלָה – “This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your presence-Jacob, forever” (Tehillim 24:6).

19:00 – ה֣וֹי בֹּנֶ֚ה בֵיתוֹ֙ בְּֽלֹא־צֶ֔דֶק וַֽעֲלִֽיּוֹתָ֖יו בְּלֹ֣א מִשְׁפָּ֑ט בְּרֵעֵ֙הוּ֙ יַֽעֲבֹ֣ד חִנָּ֔ם וּפֹֽעֲל֖וֹ לֹ֥א יִתֶּן־לֽוֹ – “Woe to him who builds his house without righteousness and his upper chambers without justice, who makes his fellowman work without wages and his hire he does not give him” (Yirmiyahu 22:13). Unworthy leaders not only misguide their followers, they take advantage of their followers.

Krias Shema – וּכְתַבְתָּ֛ם עַל־מְזוּז֥וֹת בֵּיתֶ֖ךָ וּבִשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ – “And you shall inscribe them upon the doorposts of your house and upon your gates…” Devarim 11:20. “Zaz Mavess” – Tzedakah saves a person from death. While a person is reciting Kriyas Shema he receives an influx of Mochin/Sechel, which enables him to elevate Malkhus to Tzedakah.

32:00 – Eating in holiness elevates the animal aspect of man. Reference to Likutey Moharan 39.
34:00 – PARAGRAPH 10. Yirah and Ahavua correspond to the first two paragraphs of Krias Shema that are in a Mezuza, and the two hands that bring a child into the world and sustain the child. Echad is beGematrai Ahava. Both Yirah and Ahava of a home are protected through Mezuza.
36:00 – HALAKHA 4. PARAGRAPH 1. Hilkhos Mezuza 4 is based on Sichos HaRan 96. Less is more when it comes to the material world. The 310 worlds inherited by the Tzaddikim in the future world are build through the resolution of Makhlokes – conflict – when the Tzaddikim establish peace. They take broken homes and restores them.
40:00 – PARAGRAPH 2. The Shin Yud (210) worlds of the Tzaddikim in Olam Habah are created by the Tzaddik judging everyone favorably to create compromise and peace.
*42:00 – PARAGRAPH 3. The Mezuza placed at the entrance of a house reminds a person that their home in this world is not permanent. Reference to 2Likutey Moharan 2. A home established for the good of Am Yisrael becomes an aspect of Beis Hashem.
