Rav Aharon b’Rav Moshe Goldstein z”l was revered for his ability to help families and neighbors in his community to establish peace. He served as chief poseyk (rabbinic authority) of the city of Breslov at the time Rebbe Nachman lived there. A devoted student of Rebbe Nachman, his yahrzeit is Rosh Chodesh Av. Among his illustrious descendants was Rabbi Zvi Aryeh Rosenfeld z”l.
