LH1-05-Birkhas HaShachar/ הלכות ברכת השחר

OC1 – Lesson 111 – Birkhas HaShachar 5 – Para. 2-7

Insights from Rabbi Nachman of Breslov about why it’s important to have a rabbi. All protection and success results from closeness with tzaddikim (righteous Jews), but who are they in our generation? How can we find the tzaddik today? Tefilas chatzos (midnight prayer), sweetening of dinim (harsh judgments), Perek Shira.
00:00 – PARAGRAPH 2. Waking up from sleep at midnight for prayer. *(clip): “This month will be to you the first of the months.” (Shemos/Exodus 12:2). Sweetening harsh judgments can be done at chatzos, which is related to Rosh Chodesh and the sod haIbur (secret of calculating the time of the New Moon).
14:40 – PARAGRAPH 3. Every Jewish soul has an “inner Moshe Rabeynu“. שמד  Shmad (spiritual failure) is 344. רצון  Ratzon (aspiration) is 346. Precisely between the two is משה  Moshe, gematria 345.
*19:45 – (clip) It’s important to have a rabbi because all protection and success results from closeness with tzadikim (righteous Jews), but who are they in our generation?

*25:12 – (clip excerpt) Who are the tzaddikim in our generation? How can we find the tzaddik today?
28:16 – PARAGRAPH 4. Waking up at midnight. The blessing on the rooster (the heart) and discernment between night and day.
31:42 – Perek Shira.
*34:32 – PARAGRAPH 5. By calling on the Name of Hashem we awaken from our sleep.
39:57 – PARAGRAPH 6. Birkhas HaTorah (blessings on learning Torah) – the importance of being careful with them.
44:51 – PARAGRAPH 7. From shmad to ratzon is possible through Birkhas HaTorah.
